A basketball player is used as the base model for creating each game character. This results in characters with different stats than the base model— such as combat speed, weight, height and technique — being created for each player. Playing this game allows players to choose their accessories and costumes. Any design can be worn as long as it makes the player feel more confident. A basketball player requires a standard ball, comfortable clothes and good shoes. They also require no hard to find accessories or impossible to fit shoes. When playing football, their clothes are problematic because they are too accommodating.

NBA All-World only hosts 1vs1 basketball games, with matches divided into halves with time limits. Any time during the match is an opportunity for players to gain the most points possible. You'll face off against professional basketball players of higher caliber. As you progress, you gain battle experience that can help you on future battles. Each round is composed of alternating phases: one in which you defend the basket, one in which you protect it and one in which you attack and attempt to put the ball into the basket for a score.

The NBA All-World game's graphics received a lot of positive feedback. The game's background images feature intricate line drawings that enhance the game's color scheme. People comment on how each character's image transitions into the background. With the publisher in mind, the movement of each character is as fluid and seamless as possible. You can even observe their shadow on the field beneath the stadium lights. Each character's perspective changes to best display any memorable moments. ———
